As with Fedwire Funds, OC 1 governs account relationships and OC 5 governs electronic access to Fedwire Securities. WebFedwire Funds Service (“Fedwire”) is operated by the Federal Reserve and enables financial institutions to electronically transfer funds between its more than 9,000 participants. Fedwire is the primary US network for large value or time-critical domestic and international payments, and it is designed to be highly resilient and redundant.
